Biography

Pastor Sheek was installed as Senior Pastor of Prince of Peace Lutheran in Anaheim on May 7, 2017.

He was born and raised in Southern California. He is a graduate of Mission Viejo High School where he met his future wife Cindy. Darrin graduated from Westmont College with a B.A. in Religious Studies in 1986. He is a graduate of the CMC program at Concordia University Irvine and earned a Master of Divinity degree through St. Louis Seminary.

He owned and operated a custom cabinet shop in South Orange County for 25 years before being called into the pastoral office serving at Faith Lutheran in Capistrano Beach both as Vicar and as an associate pastor. Darrin is currently serving as the pastor at Prince of Peace in Anaheim, Ca.

He treasures spending time in the “off hours” with his wife, Cindy, and his four children. He enjoys sports, all types of music, reading, cooking, and occasionally, you will catch him on the golf course or playing freeze tag on the playground with the students at Prince of Peace School.
